Center for Democracy and Human Rights CIVITAS invites abstract submissions for the 2015 Regional Conference on Citizenship and Civic Education in South East Europe which will be held in Banja Luka, from March 20 to 22, 2015. The main goal of the conference is provide the opportunity for educators, researchers, policy-makers, and other interested individuals to work together on exploring theoretical frameworks, civic educational methods and civic curricula, civic education policies, and civic values in the context of life-long competence based learning. Everyone interested in the topic is encouraged to send their abstracts.
Application
In order to be considered, please submit your CV and your abstract (250 – 300 words) in MS Word (.doc) format by January 31, 2015 to the following e-mail: info@civitas.ba.
In the subject line of the email, please put “2015 REGIONAL CONFERENCE.”
Full paper submissions should begin with the title of the paper and author’s name.
Abstract should be included.
Use Times New Roman 12pt and single spacing.
References must be Harvard style.
Papers must be submitted electronically in both, word and PDF formats.
The authors will be notified about final decisions by February 25, 2015.
Selected papers will be published as conference proceedings. Working languages will be English and local languages in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Costs
There is no participation fee, and the conference participants will be provided with meals, accomodation and CIVITAS will cover their travel expences.
